Issue/Introduction

For cross node jobs, the dependencies on other nodes are not being recognized.

 

Error Message :
Error 600 populating exchange data

 

Environment

OS: Any

Product: Dollar Universe 6.x

 

Cause

Exchanger data files corruption

Resolution

Reinitialize the exchange files:

Purpose
The files u_fecl60 and u_fecd60 contain the information to be exchanged with the other nodes. These two files are present in each area and should be empty in case no Exchange errors occur.

When to initialize
In case, $U cannot send any events or objects to a remote node, or the exchange becomes extremely slow.

Impact
All of the existing exchange requests will be lost.
For example:
The events exchange requests (for remote dependencies for example)

NOTE:
Make sure there’s no exchange at the moment this procedure is executed.

For the production area:

1) Open a shell with the Dollar Universe administration user

2. Load Dollar Unvierse environment 

3) Stop the node

4) Backup the following files of the data/XXX folder (being XXX app/int/sim/exp depending on the area):
u_fecd60.*
u_fecl60.*

4) Run the reinitialization of the exchanger data files for the impacted area with uxrazfic (replace X by the impacted area):
uxrazfic u_fecd60 X
uxrazfic u_fecl60 X

5) Run an offline reorg
unireorg

6) Restart the node
