Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
Exception caught '10038 - An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket.'.

After the SNMP Agent is patched to the newest v12 version or freshly installed with version 12 on Windows, the Agent fails to start and the following error message is displayed.

Cause

Cause type:

Root Cause: The SNMP Agent is unable to start due to a select on an invalid socket descriptor.
