Issue/Introduction
The customer uses the Policy Manager in Spectrum, to automatically enable Live Pipes, for connected ports. In order to find connected ports, he checks the attribute NetworkLinkType, however links to Access Points, that have been generated by the WLC module, incorrectly show NetworkLinkType=UnknownLink, so are not picked up by policy manager.
Cause
The NetworkLinkType was not defined for Access Points, during the certification process.
Environment
Spectrum 10.1.x 10.2.x
Resolution
Spectrum Architects will set an appropriate Network Link Type for Access Points in future versions.
This is planned for 10.2.3 and 10.3. Until then, the NetworkLinkType can be changed to type "Shared Access Link" as a workaround.
This could be done en masse, via a CLI script, if desired.
