Occasionally, some dollar universe commands fail when launched as a particular system user, it could be locally or remotely.
For example, on the return of the command uxordre for the example below, we obtain as error message "Non-existent task".
|ERROR|X|uni|pid=p.t| htonHandshakeAuthent | o_ReadILocal_OWLS returns error [-99]
|ERROR|X|uni|pid=p.t| owls_connect_auth | k_connect_auth_timeout(NODE_NAME/SIO) returns error [300]
|ERROR|X|IO |pid=p2.t2| k_select_accept_aut | u_read_req_select in error [-2]
|ERROR|X|uni|pid=p.t| o_callsrv_connect_r | Connection error 0 [Comlayer error]
|ERROR|X|uni|pid=p.t| o_uxordre_get_ids | task not found [TASK_NAME/MU]
|ERROR|X|IO |pid=p2.t2| u_io_thread_trt | New client 1764 (uxordre/username on node_name) authentication failed: Connection closed (recv(socket=1764, bytes=5) returns 0)
Restarting the node fixes temporarily the problem.
OS: a defect was fixed affecting only Windows Nodes
Defect on Windows nodes: The issue was due to the fact that if you launch a remote command line as a domain system user from a remote windows node after restarting the node, the file would get corrupted and noone could use it afterwards.
Delete the associated .key file from /DUAS_FOLDER/data/exp/local (exp if it only affects IO exp, but it could be on app, int or sim) or restart the node ( this will also clear the folder from .key files).
On Windows only, update to the fix version listed below or a newer version if available. Please note that the issue could also occur on Unix and in such case please open a case referencing this article as this solution won't apply.
