Description :Reporter server can not connect to Dollar Universe node. Hence, the extraction would fail.

Cause

Cause type:
By design
Root Cause: From Reporter v2.4, it is now mandatory to have Univiewer Management Server and Univiewer Console for the Reporter server to be able to connect to the target node(s).
In fact, the Reporter server retrieves the network configuration from the Univiewer Management Server. Also, the Reporter server needs to be registered to Univiewer Management Server so that the Reporter server may have access to the node listing on Univiewer Management Server.

Resolution

-From the Univiewer Console, access the Node Settings of the Reporter server.


-Choose the UVMS Parameters and please define the following parameters:
Management Server hostname
Management Server port
Univiewer login
Univiewer password

-Restart of Reporter server is needed.
