Root Cause: Before an upgrade of their operating system, the company is using a specific "su" binary. For this particular incident, the company is configured to use specific "su" binary as defined in their $UXMGR/uxsetenv*. They may have done this for specific reason.

Resolution

Please make sure that a correct "su" binary is used in the library path and the command su - works correctly . By default, the su is located in /bin directory.
