Description :Some special characters(ex. é è à ù ê ë ç ° ) are not correctly printed in U_SPV_LOG.LOG, which are defined in the "Default information" field when generic supervision is used.

Root Cause: The issue could be the character encoding with the text editor used when opening the file U_SPV_LOG.LOG.

Resolution

Change the character encoding of the text editor being used. For example, when we open the U_SPV_LOG.LOG using VIM and we change the encoding to cp863, all the special characters are shown correctly.

After opening the U_SPV_LOG.LOG using VIM:

- Type " :set encoding=cp1252 " and press enter.

Please note that this is for VIM text editor. The solution may differ depending on the text editor being used.
