Description :After Dollar Universe has been upgraded from 5.2.3 to 5.3.3 and patched with fx24979.
The environment comes up without any error messages but all launches abort.

OS: Windows Server 2003
OS Version: Discovered on Windows server 2003 but can concern any OS, because impact is from the DU Settings

Root Cause: This could be caused:In any case, notice that the definition of this variable in the *.def files is not sufficient, uxsetenv.bat must contain this variable.

 

Resolution

- Edit the uxsetenv.bat
- Add for example
set U_TMP_PATH=\tmp
the tmp directory must exist on the system and we don't recommend to use a temporary directory located under the user directory (Documents and Settings) because some specific privileges are set on this directory.
