Error Message :
In the univiewer console log files following error messages is notified (UVC trace mode is activated).

No messages in the universe.log of the V6 installation
Node settings of the upgraded Version 6 node are correct

Patch level detected:Univiewer Console 6.1.00
Product Version: Dollar.Universe 6.1.0

Description :Upgrade of a Dollar Universe 5.6/FX25010 installation on Windows 2008 R2 server.
Installation in upgrade mode ==> OK
Import of the security settings ==> OK

The Univiewer Console (standalone 6.1.21) upgrade Wizard stops at 75% of the Import of the Core Settings (step 3/4).

Root Cause: One or more of the following basic Dollar Universe Variables are missing either in %UXEXE%\universe.def or in %UXEXE%\.def: UXDAP, UXDIN, UXDEX, UXDSI, UXMGR or UXDIR_ROOT.

 

Resolution

Check that:

UXDIR_ROOT, UXMGR, UXDEX, UXDSI, UXDAP, UXDIN are properly defined and present in both environment files %UXEXE%\universe.def or in %UXEXE%\.def.

Save both modified files

Restart Dollar Universe 5 instance

Rerun the upgrade Wizard again from the Univiewer Console.

Fix Status: No Fix
