Description :Manager for z/OS cannot submit new job, you can observe in the MGRLOG warning messages.

On the MVS side, the result of netstat command will return a lot of close wait connection states.

Root Cause: Manager for z/OS can no longer process jobs as it does not release TCP sockets

Resolution

Please keep in mind that to use this manager MVS 6.3.41, you need to use the 6.3.41 versions for Dollar Universe, Univiewer Console and the Univiewer Management Server too (please refer to compatibility Matrix for more details).

When the upgrade is complete, please adjust the value of the variable ZOS_NB_RETRY_FREE_CNX that is used for number of attempts before forcing the connection to be freed
