Upgrade from V5 to V6 not working on Windows

Description :Upgrade v5.6 to 6.1 with the wizard windows service not created for user services created manually, error message blocking the upgrade

When there is no corresponding windows services for some submission accounts, the wizard generate an error message. When deleting some users or creating the corresponding windows services, the message is still there and blocking the upgrade, even after a rollback.

Root Cause: Some of the windows services are missing and these services are mandatory for the upgrade procedure.

OS: Windows
Related configuration item(s): UVMS 6.1.21

 

Resolution

- Run the Dollar Universe 6 kit on the machine
- Before starting the upgrade wizard, check the windows services and install the missing ones if needed.
- Run the upgrade wizard

Fix Status: No Fix
