There no functional impact on these nodes.

Environment

OS: All

Cause

Cause type: Configuration

This message can appear in 2 cases:

1. When the list of MU contains MUs that existed on decommissioned DUAS nodes

2. After an upgrade of Dollar Universe V5 to V6, universe.log generates a lot of these particular connection failure error messages.

The problem arises from the fact that another unauthorized UVMS tries to connect to the updated v6 node.
This is due to the fact that before the upgrade to v6, the v5 could be declared on more than one UVMS and that these nodes had not been unregistered from this (these) additional UVMS before the upgrade.

Resolution

Workaround:

  • Clean up the MU list on all DUAS nodes, removing non-existing MUs
  • Clean up the node lists of all UVMS's, in particular remove nodes from the node list of additional UVMS's
