Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
A popup error appears after launching the setup in mode uninstall with the following message:

Current version cannot be retrieved !
Upgrade must be abandoned
################################

Description :When launching on windows via Add / Remove programs the uninstallation of UVMS, a popup error occurs and the uninstall cannot be done

Environment

Cause

Cause type:
Other
Root Cause: The user had uninstalled previously the Java version used by UVMS, as a result, the java program used to check the current version could not be launched while uninstalling

Resolution

In order to fix the issue, simply edit the file /data/unienv.bat
Then replace the value of the variable JAVA_ORSYP with the path of java installed on your server:

Example:

set JAVA_ORSYP="C:\PROGRA~1\Java\jre7"

Then relaunch the uninstallation.
