Application Blocked for Security message when editing a transfer from Management Center

Issue/Introduction

A security warning window related to the application's digital signature will appear,  when you load the Edit Transfer record via XCOM Management Center under IE8 or 11 due to the applet for the "local file" browse button.

  

Environment

Windows, Internet Explorer v8 or v11

Cause

Applets are disabled for security reasons by the latest browsers.

Resolution

Please be aware that applets are disabled for security reasons by the latest browsers such as IE 8 or 11. 

The message can be ignored and you will not be able to use the browse button for the Local File system. 

Additional Information

If you use Chrome you will notice that the browse button will not be present and the message will not be received.
