From Univiewer Console, it is impossible to access Dollar Universe node in which proxy is enabled

Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
A pop-up error message will show up an "access denied" when accessing any Dollar Universe objects from Univiewer Console.

In the universe.log, the following message is present:

Description :From Univiewer Console, it is impossible to access Dollar Universe node in which proxy is enabled
 

Cause

Root Cause: The proxy is enabled on Dollar Universe. For example:
SYSTEM U_NODE GROUPNAME USERNAME UNIVERSE_USERNAME

Resolution

The workaround is to put the identity of the Univiewer Management Server in the "values.xml" file.

-Stop the Univiewer Management Server

-Make a backup of the values.xml file of the Univiewer Management Server .

-Modify the values.xml file of the Univiewer Management Server by adding the followng lines


"UVMS nodename"
UVMS
UVMS


-Restart the Univiewer Management Server .

The fix for this issue is available from Univiewer Management Server V4.0.06 in which the "Restore Defaults" is no longer available.
