Description :If two nodes have the same nodename but with different company name and if one node is deleted from UVC, the node that is supposed to be deleted will remain. The other node is removed.

Resolution

It is better to unregister the Dollar Universe node using the command line unims -unregister available in Dollar Universe v6.x.
Please make sure to stop the node before running the command.

unims -help

unregister : removes from UVMS (all params are optional)
-mshost : UVMS hostname or IP address
-msport : UVMS port number
-login : UniViewer login
-pwd : UniViewer password
-pwdfile : UniViewer password file


For example:

unims -unregister -mshost 192.168.115.40 -msport 4188 -login univa -pwd univa
