Error Message :
No error message.

Patch level detected:Dollar Universe 5.6
Product Version: Dollar.Universe 5.6.0 FX25010

Description :BVS services do not start upon server reboot even if the BVS service is defined to start automatically.

Environment

OS: Windows
OS Version: ALL

Cause

Cause type:
By design
Root Cause: The BVS services do not have dependencies on IO and CDJ server.

Resolution

Here are two methods to work around this issue. The first is our recommended method. It involves leaving the Dollar Universe services as manual services, and making the uxtartup script an automatic startup service. Please see the attached FAQ for details.

The second method involves adding some dependencies to the BVS service to ensure that it will start only after the IO and CDJ services have been started, as the BVS services requires these to be present in order to successfully start. However, we still recommend the first option as there is no way to guarantee that Windows will properly start Dollar services. Please see below for the procedure:

(For Production Area. For other areas, replace the value X with other areas: A, I, S)
uxsetenv

sc delete "%s_societe%_%s_nodename%_BVS_X"

sc create "%s_societe%_%s_nodename%_BVS_X" binpath= "%UXEXE%\UniServBVS.exe" depend= "%s_societe%_%s_node%_IO_X"/"%s_societe%_%s_nodename%_CDJ_X" start= delayed-auto displayname= "Univer$e %s_societe%_%s_nodename%_BVS_X"
