Root Cause: The issue is that the ALERTING process was really busy for at least 10 minutes.

Resolution

You may stop and restart Alerting engine before and after the schedule maintenance. You can use the following commands within the uproc script:

#### The uproc must be scheduled to run before the scheduled online purge. ####

//This will stop Alerting engine
$UXEXE/uxend fnc fnc=ALM

//Put some sleep command here to estimate when the online purge/reorganization will end and execute the following command.

//This will restart Alerting engine
$UXEXE/uxstr fnc fnc=ALM
