Patch level detected:Univiewer Console 6.1.00
Product Version: Dollar.Universe 6.1.0

Description :A new installation of Dollar Universe 6 blocks at the ports definition.

Environment

OS: All

Cause

Cause type:
Defect
Root Cause: Since DUAS 6.1.41 a new check has been added to the installation procedure. The TCP baseport that is specified during the installation procedure are cross-checked with all ports that are presently listed in /etc/services or in C:\Windows\system32\driverse\etc\services. If the specified Port is found there, the installation procedure returns a blocking prompt and asks the user to use another baseport, otherwise the installation procedure will not continue.

Resolution

Now when the port is actually declared in services but not used, the Dollar Universe Installation will no longer be blocked.
