The following errors may appear on the job log of the uproc that launches the uxbck command:

Description :The uproc that launches the backup of the company and area data files via the command uxbck fails.

Cause

Cause type:
By design
Root Cause: The limit of the maximum number of file descriptors for the user that launched the command is too low.

Resolution

In order to avoid this issue please ask the system administrator to increase the ulimit -Hn and ulimit -n for the user administrator of the Dollar Universe node.

Recommended values are:
ulimit -Hn --> unlimited
ulimit -n ----> 8192 or superior
