Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
CNZ4200I CONSOLE UC4CN001 HAS FAILED. REASON=ABTERM

The z/OS Event Monitor is part of the Automation Engine solution for z/OS. It connects and collaborates with the z/OS Agent. The EM (Event Monitor) has two main functions:

  • Monitoring the console output for Console Events
When using the Console Monitor to run Console Events, the Event Monitor may crash, although very rarely, and the above error message is written to the system log.
