Error Message :
20170213/170142.624 - U02003044 Invalid 'read' call, socket 'UC4PROD#CP003'. Error code: ('145' - 'Connection timed out')

Unix/Linux agents, in a DMZ zone, time out and the above error message is displayed.
 

Cause

Cause type:
Configuration
Root Cause: Even though tcp_keepalive by default is set to yes, it fails to pick up the setting in v11 Agents running on Unix or Linux servers.

OS Version: N/A

Resolution

  1. Modify the agent's ini file(ucxjlx6.ini) by making sure the following parameters are present and uncommented out.
tcp_keepalive=yes 
tcp_keepalive_time=30
  1. Stop and restart the agent.
