Issue/Introduction

Affects Release version(s): 6

Error Message :
ARA cannot be accessed by this URL
Please use Automic's Enterprise Control Center (ECC) to access Automic Release Automation (ARA). Ask your administrator for details.

Using One Installer 2.0.2 to install the ARA Offerings the root URL for the ECC/AWI is not set in the customer.config file.

Investigation

In ARA v5, an approver can be configured so that they receive notifications such as when a deployment is planned in the Production environment.  There are links within the notification email that will allow the approver to launch the ARA Web UI.

In ARA v11.2, the main interface was changed and moved to the Enterprise Control Center (ECC).  However, the format of the email notification has not changed so the links in the email no longer work.  Accessing the ARA Web UI directly will show the following error:

<Please see attached file for image>

If you look at the customer.config file, you will see that the One Installer did not enter the ECCURL value.

<!-- UC4Deployment.ECCURL: Root URL of ECC application -->
<add key="UC4Deployment.ECCURL" value=""/>
