Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
U00003706 Variable 'VARA.CA.CERTIFICATION' is not Share!

In UC_CUSTOM_ATTRIBUTES (client 0) the name of a VARA (e.g. VARA.CA.CERTIFICATION) is stored, VARA.CA.CERTIFICATION is created in client 0 and filled accordingly and set to "Not sharable":

Create a job in some other client and try to select this as user defined metadata. In the Java User Interface (UI), you receive an error:

In the Automic Web Interface (AWI) it can be selected:

The behavior between Java UI and AWI is inconsistent. The Java UI behaves correctly.

Root Cause: Variables defined as non-shareable in client 0 can be displayed in other clients.

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available where if a variable is defined as non-shareable in client 0, it is not available for selection in any other client.
