Job aborting when trying to send email

Issue/Introduction

A job is aborting with an error message in the job log. The job uses the command sendmail to send an email.

Error message in the job log:

Log file: /pcard17/trace_uaecb2/
Email Function activated : Sending Email to [email protected]
DUAS environment loaded for Company COMPANY Node NODE.

Environment

OS: All Unix

Cause

Cause type: Configuration
Root Cause: The sendmail binary was nor present on the machine where Dollar Universe node was installed

Resolution

Ensure the sendmail binary is present for the custom script to work.
