Issue/Introduction

U00003590 UCUDB - DB error: 'SQLBindParameter', 'ERROR ', 'HY104', 'Invalid precision value'

When setting a Post Condition to restart a task that has entries in the Variables and Prompts field of the task the task will remain in a status of Generating and the above error message will be displayed.

This occurs on Automation Engine systems running with a SQL Server database.

Cause

Cause type:
Defect
Root Cause: Jobs will get stuck in a Generating status and throw a 'SQLBindParameter' error. Tthe SQL Server ODBC driver does not support bind parameters with null values and the jobs will get stuck in a Generating status.
