Issue/Introduction

Error Message :
U00003525 UCUDB: ===> 'begin uc_calc_stat (); end;'

During an Oracle ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) switch, multiple statistic calculations are called by different WPs and for the entire schema.  These calls can cause delays in the completion of the ILM switch.

Investigation

You may be encountering this issue if:
  1. The Automation Engine (AE) is using an Oracle database.
  2. During an Oracle ILM switch, delays are experienced.
  3. In multiple WP logs the following message is seen:​
U00003525 UCUDB: ===> 'begin uc_calc_stat (); end;'

Cause type:
Defect
Root Cause: Schema statistics should only be calculated for the partitioned tables and once per day
