Issue/Introduction
Error Message : N/A
The SFTP_JAVA job and a few other objects lose User Group privileges after an upgrade from Applications Manager version 8 to version 9.
Export files affected:
FTP_SFTP.exp
Install.exp
Reports.exp
Cause
Cause type: By design Root Cause: The DBA user group is the default user group used in all the AM import files since it is the only user group available during a new installation.
This is not a bug, the import files have the DBA user group by default because they are imported during a new installation. The DBA user group is the only user group available during a new installation.
The FTP_JAVA, and SFTP JAVA jobs are no longer imported during an install or an upgrade because they are no longer being maintained. If you want to use FTP commands with AM version 9 we recommend you install an RA FTP agent.
Fix Status: No Fix
Fix Version(s): N/A
Additional Information
Workaround : Remove the roles=DBA entries from the export (exp) files and reimport.
