In a DQM configuration with a local generic queue (submission) and remote physical queue(s) (execution) the job log is not purged on the remote node.
In a scenario where the physical queues are local the job log is purged at the same time as the entry in the launch files according to the variables <X|S|I|A>_O_PURGE_* (e.g. X_O_PURGE_HST_RET_E).
In the remote case no purge is taking place.
