Issue/Introduction
Error Message : N/A
The Windows 32-bit Agent (x86) is delivered with the wrong default value for the Job Messenger name in the INI file.
The parameter is called “UC_EX_JOB_MD” and can be found in the “[VARIABLES]” section. The name of the 32-bit Windows Job Messenger is “ucxjwi3m.exe”, but the parameter is set to “UCXJWX6M.EXE”.
Without changing the parameter to the correct value all jobs submitted via the Agent will fail.
The delivered INI file looks like this:
[VARIABLES] ; ; UC_EX_JOB_MD: Path and file name of the Job Messenger ; UC_EX_JOB_MD=.\UCXJWX6M.EXE
And this is what the INI file should look like:
[VARIABLES] ; ; UC_EX_JOB_MD: Path and file name of the Job Messenger ; UC_EX_JOB_MD=.\ucxjwi3m.exe
The following screenshots show the issue as well:
<Please see attached file for image>
As workaround or solution it’s sufficient to change the wrong setting in the INI file.
