For example: <DUAS>/log/exp/XV000000001U000000086RES.1220420
As long as the Uproc is waiting for the Resource, Dollar Universe will write 3 lines in this log file each time the Supervisor checks the Resource (every 30 seconds by default).
If it is the first Uproc of a Session, the Uproc will pass from "Event Wait" to "Time Overrun" when the condition is not met.
However, if it is the 2nd, 3th... or n-th Uproc of a Session, the Uproc will not pass to "Time Overrun" and the Uproc can stay in "Event Wait" indefinitely.
As a consequence the Resource Log can grow significantly!
Cause type: By design Root Cause: This behavior is by design
OS: All OS Version: N/A
Following are 3 suggested options:
Make sure that Resource conditions only exist in the first Uproc of a Session.
Regularly check Uprocs that remain in Event Wait longer than a week and stop them when the condition will no longer be met. Once the Uproc is cancelled, the corresponding Resource Log will automatically be purged according to the retention criteria of Uproc.
Set an alert (Warning and Critical) to monitor the remaining space on the volume that contains the job logs:
Node Settings > Maintenance > "Warning threshold for the monitoring of the available space of the log file system (MB)" and Node Settings > Maintenance > "Critical threshold for the monitoring of the available space of the log file system (MB)"
