ARA PCK.AUTOMIC_EMAIL not processing German umlaut characters correctly

The ARA Action Send Mail has a problem with the German umlaut characters, specifically ä ö ü ß Ä Ö Ü. 

In the Activation Report you'll see the variable:
&UC4RB_EMAIL_SSUBJECT#' was stored with value 'Täglich über Maß gelöst'.
In the Action Report, the variable is used as 
email-tool: PARAM: protocol = smtp email-tool: PARAM: server = smtprelay1:25 email-tool: PARAM: loglevel = INFO email-tool: PARAM: username = xxxxemail-tool: PARAM: toMailAddress = xxxxemail-tool: PARAM: subject = TSglich nber Ma¯ gel÷st


Cause type:
Root Cause: Action Send Mail is not encoding the email subject and body correctly when an umlaut is encountered.
