Issue/Introduction

When attempting to configure an Active Directory server for the EEM User Store, a "bind fail" error is received.

All parameters, including Active Directory server name, port, UserDN, UserDN password, and baseDN are confirmed to be valid and work fine on another EEM server.

The LDAP port is open through the firewall.

Resolution

Check the "Allowed Workstations" parameter in Active Directory for the UserDN specified in the EEM User Store configuration. This parameter must include the EEM server name for the bind from the EEM server to be successful.
