Issue/Introduction

I am in the process of starting the CA OPSWEB function and during the start up of the NetMaster SOLVESSI task. I am receiving the following error messages:

NSC003 RACROUTE EXTRACT CALL FAILED - RC=8, RS=8
NS0502 INITIALIZATION CALL TO NMSSI030 FAILED.

CA OPS/MVS 12.3

Cause

The userid of the OPSWEB started task is missing an OMVS segment in its RACF profile. 

Resolution

 Add an OMVS segment to the RACF profile of the userid associated with the OPSWEB started task.
