The client just installed CA Intertest CICS r 10 and VRPT shows message DB2 support not installed.

Issue/Introduction

The client just installed r 10 and configured DB2 support for CTS 5.3 and per the install guide. But when the client uses VRPT installation verification procedure he receives the following messages

IN70AIDB DB2 support not installed
IN70FIDB DB2 support not installed
IN25TIAR DB2 support not installed

Environment

Z/OSCICS CTS 5.3

Cause

The client installed DB2 support while CICS was active so the CA Intertest for CICS DB2 RDO entries were not installed.

Resolution

The client recycled CICS and at CICS startup time the DB2 group INT10DB2 was automatically installed and this resolved the VRPT error messages.
