Issue/Introduction

The SPM Test for URL monitoring fails with the following error on the Spectrum OneClick Console:

SPC-OCC-10183: The following errors(s) occurred when attempting to run the selected test(s):

SPC-OCC-1641: Failure.

 

Environment

Applicable to all version of CA Virtual Assurance for Infrastructure Managers.

Cause

The URL monitoring test fails with status 'Bad Configuration' because the read community string is being configured at the SystemEDGE Agent side.

The read-write community string must be configured for the URL monitoring to work properly.

 

Resolution

Please edit the sysedge.cf file under the port161/1691 directory on the agent and configure it to read-write community string, then on the Spectrum OneClick Console change the community string to read-write for the agent. Please poll the device again for the changes to take effect.
