History file data loaded is uncompressed for Sysview for Db2

Issue/Introduction

Unloaded of the Sysview Performance Management Option for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) history file at %50 and then reload the data to the
newly created files but new files filled up before copying 100% of the requested data that needs to be copied.

 

Resolution

The following parameter,  LOAD JOB CMP=NO,  was specified in the IDB2 load job causing the data to be loaded uncompressed.
Changing parameter to CMP=YES resolved the problem.

HISTORY-COMPRESSION=[YES | NO] 

(Optional) Specifies whether to compress the records being loaded (using hardware compression). We recommend using YES.
