Issue/Introduction
Trying to use NetOps Portal REST API with an LDAP or SAML user fails with a 403 forbidden error
Environment
CA Performance Management All supported platforms
Cause
LDAP and SAML authenticated users are not supported by the NetOps Portal Rest API.
Resolution
Users must be locally authenticated to NetOps Portal.
Users must also be global administrators, (member of the Administrators group).
