CA PAM Socket Filter Agent Not Working On AIX 7.1

Issue/Introduction

 

After installing CA PAM Socket Filter Agent on AIX 7.1, SFA service fails to start. An error similar to the below is shown:

[venus#/usr/SocketFilter]/etc/rc.d/init.d/rc.gksfd start
Starting the Socket Filtering Service
exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program gksfd because of the following errors:
0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for gksfd because:
0509-136 Symbol __setjmp (number 31) is not exported from
dependent module /usr/lib/libc.a[shr_64.o].
0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the
'dump -Tv' command.

 

 

 

 

 

Environment

CA Privileged Access Management 2.8.0AIX 7.1

Resolution

Run 'oslevel -s' to find the version of AIX.

If the AIX patch level is lower than 7100-03-05-1524, please upgrade to this patch level or above.
