CA PAM Socket Filter Agent Not Running on HP-UX 11.31

Issue/Introduction

Unable to Start SFA Service on HP-UX 11.31. An error similar to below is seen:

# HP-UX 11.31 ia64 Server

starting the Socket Filtering Service
/usr/sbin/gksfd
gksfd: FATAL: pst_stream_size should be: 672; is 72
EXIT CODE: 1

Environment

CA Privileged Access ManagementHP-UX 11.31

Cause

Issue is caused by a possible defect on the HP-UX platform, according to this HP Community site:

Resolution

Download and apply the following patches on the HP-UX 11.31 machine:

- HWEnable11i_B.11.31.1009.353a.depot
- QPK1131_B.11.31.1009.353a.depot
