After uninstalling CA OM Web Viewer 11.5, the CA folder is still in the Program Files and Program Files(x86) folders

Issue/Introduction

I have done the uninstall of Web Viewer 11.5 using the control panel remove programs.  However, I see that the CA folder is still in the Program Files and Program Files(x86). I try to delete but it won’t allow it even if I run explorer as administrator. 

How do I clean everything up?

Web Viewer was still running.

Resolution

Take down Web Viewer before running the uninstall.  The uninstaller will not delete anything it did not create, but you should still be able to delete the files yourself. 

If other programs are installed under the CA folder, you will not be able to remove this folder.

Additional Information

When the product is uninstalled, the database created for it in Microsoft SQL Server is not deleted. If you do not intend to re-install OM Web Viewer or do not plan to re-use this particular database, you can delete it manually. To delete the DVWEB data base, use the Microsoft SQL Server management tool appropriate for your SQL level.
