Issue/Introduction

After installing CA Business Intelligence (CABI) 4.1 and attempting to create a new user via the CMC, receive the following error:


You do not have any Concurrent User Licenses to make this user a concurrent user. You have 0 concurrent user licenses

Environment

CA Business Intelligence (CABI) 4.1 SP3 or SP5All Supported Windows Operating Systems

Cause

The CABI license is inserted during the install process.  Further checking reveals that it appears that no license key was added during the CABI install. 

This can be verified via:

1. Login to the Central Management Console (CMC) as Administrator 
2. Click on LICENSE KEYS from the CMC Home Page

Resolution

Please contact CA Support (1-800-CALL-CAI or https://support.ca.com) for assistance in manually entering the CABI license key.
