Issue/Introduction

We are seeing a message at the end of our explains which does not make sense because we are at R19

PT756W: One or more truncated objects have been suppressed.

The CA Product for DB2 for z/OS you are using has encountered one or more rows that were retrieved that contained one or more columns whose values were truncated.  These rows have been suppressed from the report that you are viewing.                             The truncation most likely has occurred as a result of a DB2 object  that has been defined exploiting new long value functionality present starting in DB2 V8.  The product you are using is not fully long value  exploitive, and as a result has suppressed this object from the report.

Environment

Release:
Component: PPADB2

Resolution

To get around this problem use PPADB2 quick explain option instead of SQE.
