Issue/Introduction

Unable to configure the Resolution time to less than 15 seconds.

After creating a dashboard and adding a graph:

Right click graph -> Select "data options" -> Select "Miscellaneous" tab  ->.

It shows a resolution of 15 seconds -> Save the dashboard.

Then Re-open the dashboard for editing, set the Resolution time less than 15 seconds and save it. However, the Resolution set back to 15 seconds.

Cause

Introscope Enterprise Manager goes through a "harvest" cycle every 15 seconds, the minimize resolution is 15 seconds, so even if we changed the Resolution time less than 15 seconds it won't be passed to effect.

Resolution

It is part of the design to not allow the Resolution time less than 15 seconds.
