Issue/Introduction

When trying to connect our DB2 database in Fast Data Masker, I am seeing the following error message:
Error: Class not found com.ibm.db2.jcc.DB2driver

Environment

CA Test Data Manager (TDM)- Fast Data Masker (FDM)

Cause

The DB2 jar files are missing from the FDM lib directory folder.

Resolution

When using DB2 on z/OS with FDM, copy the db2jcc4.jar, db2jcc4_license_cu.jar, and db2jcc4_license_cisuz.jar files provided by the vendor and paste them into the C:\Program Files\Grid-Tools\FastDataMasker\lib folder.  Remove db2kcc.jar, db2jcc_license_cu.jar, and db2jcc_license_cisuz.jar files from the folder as they will be picked up first.

See the following documentation: https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/devops/test-data-management/4-10/provisioning-test-data/mask-production-data-with-fast-data-masker/fast-data-masker-system-requirements.html#concept.dita_1608b60e467c1438433de275cf921cd48bf74ee3_supporteddatasources

Despite copying the db2 jar files, the error was also observed when starting FDM with the following command: java -jar gtmapper.exe
There is no problem starting with: gtmapper.exe
