Issue/Introduction

We are trying to set up an Explicit Deny policy with a calendar. Based on the dates specified in the calendar, users will not be able to create/write/delete any jobs. When we run permission check, it shows that users WILL be able to create/write/delete jobs during that time frame.

Environment

CA Embedded Entitlements Manager r8.4, r12.51+

Resolution

Click TEC1871965 - Using Calendars in CA Embedded Entitlements Manager (EEM).pdf for instructions on how to properly set up calendars for EEM policies to prevent users from using certain permissions for a specified period of time.
