Not able to switch from Kanban Board to Task List in a Project in the New UX

In the CA PPM New User Experience (UX), if you are on the Board view, when clicking on List view, the Board view remains. If you are on the List view, when clicking on the Board view, the List view remains. 

Steps to Reproduce: 

1. Log in to the new UX 
2. Click on a project
3. Click on the Tasks tab
4. Note if defaulted to the Task List view or Kanban Board view
5. Click on the icon for the view not currently in use

Expected Results: Screen changes to other view 
Actual Results: Screen remains on the current view

This issue is caused by defect DE40163


This issue is fixed in CA PPM (15.4 patch 1) and in 15.4.1. 


Option 1: 

  1. Click on the view you want to switch to (example, if trying to switch to the Board View, click on the Board View icon)
  2. Wait a few seconds for the page to reload, then click on the view you want to switch to again (Board View in this example). You will then be taken to the new view. 

Option 2:

  1. Double click on the view you want to switch to (Either Board or List)
  2. This brings you back to the project list
  3. Go back into the Project and click on Tasks, the view should now switch
