Deleting multiple certificates from the security file and still unable to add certificates because the security file is full.

Trying to add new digital certificates but getting messages indicating that SDT is full on the security file. Deleted some old certificate, but still unable to add the new certificates because the SDT is full on the security file.

Resolution

In a shared security file environment, when a digital certificate is deleted, it actually isnt deleted.\and the space is not freed. The certificate is just marked for deletion. Only after 24 hours will the records on the security file get deleted and the space freed.
