Issue/Introduction

How often should a /LOGON be used when stacking multiple commands in batch jobs? In some samples we insert the /LOGON every fifth command and in others we sometimes enter several dozen commands between /LOGON

Resolution

The program SASSTRLR (trailer step) is used to pass command(s) to CA 7 from a batch job or program.  There is a maximum of 13 CA 7 commands that can be process per /LOGON card.  You can add additional
logon cards as need for stacking purposes.  Place a /LOGON card after the last command the stack when the number of commands exceeds 13.
