We attempted to send a JOB_OFF_NOEXEC event to a job but encountered errors. Example: sendevent -E JOB_OFF_NOEXEC -J job123 --- exceprt from the event_demon log --- [04/23/2018 09:43:57] CAUAJM_I_40245 EVENT: JOB_OFF_NOEXEC JOB: job123 [04/23/2018 09:43:57] CAUAJM_E_40045 Cannot take job <job123> off ON_NOEXEC because it is not ON_NOEXEC. [04/23/2018 09:43:58] CAUAJM_I_40245 EVENT: ALARM ALARM: JOBNOT_ONNOEXEC JOB: job123 [04/23/2018 09:43:58] <This job is not ON_NOEXEC.> ---
This is expected behavior if the JOB_OFF_NOEXEC event is sent to a job that is in any state other than NOEXEC.
